Among the wide variety of outstanding features tant Camargo has to offer are its Town Hall, The tower and Palace of the Marqueses of villapuente, The Etnographic Museum of Cantabria, the home of Velarde and the cave paintings of the Cave of Pendo. As well as these cultural features, Camargo also has a great comercial area which is mainly due to its transport and communication services.

The Parayas Airport and the Port of Raos are situated within this district. As well as the industrial estates which are scattered about the region and its proximity to Santander.

Other places of interest around Camargo are, the City of Santander, and the Sardinero beach, the Festival Palace, the University of Menendez y Pelayo, te Magdalena Palace, the beaches of Somo, and the Cabarceno Nature park as well as many others outstanding features which a priviledged community like Cantabria has to offer.
